Peas are sweet, green, delicate and delicious.  Known as a fruit in the botanical world, they come in many colors and varieties.  Italian's are known lovers of the peas. I love adding green peas in rice or in any stir fry.  It certainly adds a bit of fiber and delicate flavor to any dish you toss it into.  Sauted with onions and garlic, it's a quick easy meal to serve up for the whole family.
