New Year’s Eve Dinner is usually rather tradition-less for our family. Sometimes we might opt for a Fondue, other times maybe a nice Eggplant Parmesan or a delicious lasagna. But this New Year’s eve was going to be special, as life was heading in a new direction for us.
My son is now an adult with a girlfriend, my middle child is almost a legal voter, and my baby is now a teenager! Life is zooming by and if we don’t take the time to sit together more often to enjoy lovely meals with one another, especially over the holiday’s, I’m afraid it will soon be too late. The champagne was chilling and the meal was ready to begin.
The theme was a 4-course meal. Così, here’s the menu: A fresh winter salad with home-made croutons, and a hard boiled egg.
This is a simple, light bouillon soup with cut savory crepes. This soup is more of a German soup, but Europe has adapted it as their own throughout the northern European countries. Molto semplice, e deliziosa!
